I bet Culhane saves Blake from the fire in the end... or vice versa... and then they become best friends. :D

I had a thought... since Jeff and Monica are "half-Carringtons"... does this make them the new Adam and Amanda, respectively? I know, I know, the character of Adam already exists... but what if the real Adam is dead or is never found? Thus Jeff would be free to become the "new Adam".

Plus, Alexis told Monica that she's "practically a daughter to her"... so...

I mean, I think I would have preferred the new Amanda to look like Oxenberg, so that we get *kind of/sort of* to see what PSM vs CO would have looked like... but I also find myself somewhat open to the idea of "Black Amanda."

They'd only be cousins as their mother is Blakes sister

I'm well aware that Jeff and Monica are cousins to Fallon and Steven. My point was that Jeff and Monica become *like* Adam and Amanda in that, as "Carrington-cousins" they can now interact with Fallon and Steven much like how Adam and Amanda could.

I don't think so. I think we'll still get Adam and Amanda. And I think there's too much love lost between the Carringtons and the Colby's that we will see them as family. Especially with Alexis's plan. They are not going to get along.

I hope Michael ends up saving Fallon, but knowing this show, he'll probably abandon her to die, leaving the "great and wonderful" (sarcasm mode) Liam to save Fallon as a last ditch effort to win her back. And then they'll live happily ever after for the rest of season 2 until inevitably either one of Fallon's screwups or one of her parents' schemes inevitably tear them apart. Here's hoping

Mrs. Gunnerson starts the fire because she's still angry at Blake for trying to fire her. Of course, now she has nowhere to work, so her plan wasn't very well-thought-out.

I hope the show-runners learned the lesson of Moldavia: if you set up a spectacularly dangerous cliffhanger, there had better be a decent body count.

Maybe the fake Adam set the fire so he could inherit all the Carrington money
Interesting idea! It's not unusual that lowlifes double-cross their devious employers, and I had thought about the possibility that Alexis' plan would backfire.
Well, what better way than with a real fire?
But if this is how it's going to happen then you've spoilt the surprise and then I'll have to hate you:)

I think Alexis' plan means that we definitely won't be getting an Amanda. Cause if she is trying to have as many of Thomas Carrington's grandchildren on her side so they can take over the company, she's not gonna just not bother mentioning she has one tucked away somewhere. In fact she wouldn't have had to go to all the trouble of creating the fake Adam if she had Amanda.

Maybe Amanda doesn't have to turn up out of nowhere. Perhaps she can be made from scratch via a one night stand with Blake and Alexis. Now I know Alexis is probably in her 50s by now but women her age have gotten pregnant in real life and on soaps before, so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch.

And Alexis could possibly manipulate Blake into sleeping with her as a way to get pregnant with his latest spawn and use the baby to trap him into supporting both mom and child for the next 18 years and to also use the baby as a pawn to get her hands on Blake's company. Of course this is assuming all her other plans fail.

"And how do you vote, Amanda?"
"wewewehee"
"That means she's voting against your leadership, Blake!"
"You bitch, you've turned my own child against me!"
"Whateva, I won, and now I'm the Queen Goddess of Atlanta and you're all going to suffer under my reign! Whoahahaha...cropped denim uniforms for everyone!"

Or maybe Amanda in this version isn't Blake's daughter, but a result of an affair Alexis had with some Joe-Doe, and so therefore has no legal claim to Blake's company/money. Hence why Alexis doesn't bother mentioning her, since at this time, Amanda is essentially useless to her... and then Blake finds out about Amanda, and, in an attempt to beat/annoy his ex-wife, dotes on the little bastard daughter, and adopts her and turns her head so that she'll side with Blake against Alexis!

With foreshadowing as I said before, I feel like there will be an Amanda after what Fallon said. I also felt that this last episode Blake was going to rape Crystal like the original. I really thought it was gonna happen, but essentially he took away her freedom.
