Should we have seen the Southfork attic?

The attic or the cellar?

And what should be found there?

Miss Ellie's oldest, her son with Digger?

Who I assume would be criminally insane or horribly disfigured a la the elephant man (but quite sweet when you get to know him) hence being locked away in the attic. He would be Ellie's little secret and she would feed him everyday and stroke his hair and sing to him. Sometimes he would call out in the night but the other family members would put it down to Sue Ellen's snoring.

And she kidnapped Lindsey Blaisdel to be his companion. But he ate her one night, when she wouldn't stop crying, when Ellie had been laid over waiting on a flight back to Dallas. Yes... It happened.

On the night of Sue Ellen's affair with Ray, she drunkenly stumbles back to the ranch. Elephant Man Southworth-Barnes, who managed to secretly create a passage to the main part of the house, comes out through the painting in J.R. and Sue Ellen's room. He gets food from the fridge and hangs out in their bed. Sue Ellen comes up to him, drunkenly thinking he's J.R., and drops her clothes. Elephant Man feels something stiff going on, something he never experienced before, and goes along with nature. That night, John Ross is conceived from a perplexing phenomenon, the fusing of both Ray and Elephant Man's sperm. When John Ross had his paternity test, it came back with J.R. as the father, and John Ross had DNA from both Jock and Miss Ellie: Jock from Ray and Miss Ellie from Elephant Man. No one knew of the truth, not even Sue Ellen.

Sounds plausible.

I still like the idea of Dallas trying to upstage Dynasty and The Colbys with a Nazi treasure/UFO combination a.k.a. Die Glocke. Perhaps it's too big and heavy to put it in the attic?

Sue Ellen: Miss Ellie, why do you keep polishing that thing?
Miss Ellie: That's a good question Sue Ellen, because I have no idea what it is. But Jock said it was something important, important enough to keep it spick-and-span.
That's why, every year around Halloween, I disappear for a whole week...to polish this...what do you think it is?
Sue Ellen: Eh...I have no idea, Miss Ellie!
Miss Ellie: Well, regardless, when I'm gone it's going to be your duty.

I need you to understand how important it is. Do you, Sue Ellen?

Poor Sue Ellen -- she has to spend her later years in that tiny attic, peering out thru that circular window atop the house on the activity below.

Sue Ellen's view front upstairs -- there's been a lot of development around Southfork, as we know, so Bobby's planted a lot of additional trees:

Aside from the head of James Beaumont, Sue Ellen did say she had one of her grandma's old dresses up there!

Sue Ellen doesn't deserve to be in the attic.

Put Pam in the attic. That's where she's been all this time.

The attic was clearly where all the Ramoses slept at night, because they spent the day doing all the things the Ewings didn´t do by themselves (like cleaning, washing clothes and yes, Miss Ellie, I´m looking at you, cooking too!). But they were told to hide away every time a camera would roll on.

I´m sure that dear Swellin also kept a big storage of vodka up there, just in case...you know what I mean. And Lucy would probably put there her huge provision of hairspray. About the corpses and what not, maybe Jenna´s father was killed by Digger too, and Miss Ellie hid him in the attic. That´s why we never got to know much about him or how he died.

And Lucy put her old doll Bootsie (or was it Patsy?) there too.
Another blond but with very long legs. Lucy envied her a lot...
