What're your thoughts on this "rat and mouse" series?

I finished watching season 2 yesterday and I am very happy that another season will follow. The payback at the end was really good.
Terrific actors on this show. Sandra Oh of course, but also Jodie Comer. And it's great seeing Kim Bodnia after seeing him on the Swedish-Danish series The Bridge.

Really enjoying this show. The two leads play off each other very well.

(Thanks for not spoiling the s2 finale. That doesn't air here until Friday night :) )

Just finished season 2.

Sandra & Jodie are a real dream team and the show is just so brutal, yet funny and entertaining.

Roll on season 3.

If they do decide to have a 2nd female Doctor Who then Jodie would be absolutely amazing

She would be indeed. I have to watch the series Thirteen that she did before Killing Eve, just cause she has impressed me.

A friend recommended this to me and said I would love it. I watched about 4 episodes and couldn't for the life of me understand why they thought I would love it. I don't get it. It feels very pretentious to me, while trying to look like it's effortless and not trying, if that makes sense. I didn't find it very funny either, in fact it was tediously boring and couldn't have been any less interested in the cat and mouse theme. I just did not care. It really wasn't for me at all.
There's something about that kind of show that really puts me off. It's that overtly self conscious thing. It's all too aware of itself, it just feels very forced and intentionally quirky. The whole thing just felt a bit too silly to me and I couldn't invest time in that.

Jodie Comer once again beat Sandra Oh in the awards. Last night, Comer won the Emmy for Best Actress. While I love Sandra Oh and think she's brilliant, I am really glad that Jodie Comer gets the recognition that she deserves. She is amazing on Killing Eve, and she even outshines the marvellous Sandra Oh.

Didnt do it for me at all, never got past Episode 1 and gave up.

Friends liked S1 but were disappointed with S2 (? different writer)

I watched the majority of the first series and loved it although found it very very far fetched. I like Jodie Comer a lot though. Unfortunately I don't buy in to a lot of hype around these new cool series'.

Yes. Series 1 was run (writing, producing & showrunning) by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), but she turned over the 2nd series to Emerald Fennell.

Sophomore seasons do tend to not be as good as the first though. But I still like the show. The relationship between Eve and Villanelle is very interesting - how they seem to both love and hate each other but being 100% obsessed. Almost to the point where you think they're gonna become lovers.

The series has been renewed for a 4th season even though season 3 hasn't premiered yet.

A new showrunner has worked on s3 and apparently, yet another showrunner will take over s4. New showrunner for every season.

I’m struggling to understand how many times Eve can be killed...

As far as I can remember, she's only been seriously wounded once (season 2 finale) = Villanelle's revenge for Eve stabbing her in season 1 finale.

Season 3 finale.

Provocative cliffhanger. They seem to be giving the fans what they wanted but something tells me it will not end well.

I found Villanelle! She's in disguise as a Swedish curling playing in the Olympics.

Each time I see this woman, I think of Villanelle. In some angles, it's like it actually is Jodie Comer.

I've saved season 3 so that I can see season 4 right after. S4, the last season, begins later this month.
