My humble prediction for the winter finale - Adam's head will be shoved into the fireplace by an entire family while Mrs. Gunnerson records the ghastly ordeal on her smartphone.

How do you like the new poster for S3?
Notice who are in it and who are not.

If this is an example of the main cast I'll be disappointed. I feel Monica is overdue for a regular spot and more development and I had hoped that Michael Michele would be upgraded. I read that her deal had an option to be a regular for her second season. I also thing it's long time that Michael Culhane be written off and I find little use for Kirby. Also interesting that Adam isn't included. Obviously Liam wouldn't be there due to spoilers and I'm also curious if they'll finally upgrade him.

I don't like Liz's styling in this photo. Her mouth/smile is strange. I don't think I've ever seen her do her hair that "big" and the décolletage is....well, Fallon has no need to "advertise," so the overall look isn't representative of the 'real' Fallon the way most of her other publicity photos are.

Blake looks like he's purposely smushing together Fallon's boobs.

And WTF's going on with Jeff's eyebrows? The paint poisoning left him with drag queen eyebrows.

Just a couple observations regarding Dynasty's IMDB website:

I've been checking it periodically and noticed a few days ago that Nathalie Kelly, who had not been listed before, had been added as Cristal Flores to both the first and second episodes for Season 3. I checked again this morning, and now she's no longer showing as part of cast. At first I thought maybe she was going to be added in flashbacks, but maybe TPTB can't keep track of their own Cristals.

In any case, Episode 2 "Caution Never Won A War":
Blake and Fallon face legal troubles; Culhane's jail stint takes an interesting turn; Cristal and Dominique make power moves.

Episode 3 "Wild Ghost Chase":
Fallon and Blake deal with the consequences of their actions in very different ways; Sam gets a visit from an unexpected guest at the hotel; Dominique continues with her devious plans.

I was kind of sure that Dominique would be Alexis' replacement, and Cristal 3.0's nemesis.
With that kind of character, what place does that leave for Alexis' return ??

Will Cristal 3.0 be a bitch too ? Is Nu Dynasty the Bitch Club ?

Desperate Housewives and Knots Landing, had strong female characters. But they were not all bitches... DH had Eddie Brit, Knots had Abby... Not every female character has to be a bitch... But hey, what do I know ? DH & KL were major TV hits, and Nu Dynasty is just Nu Dynasty

Dynasty's IMDB website
I have been informed IMDB - much like Wikipedia - is unreliable as a source. If...and that's a big if...Nathalie Kelley has been mentioned in the cast I'm curious to know why the producers would wish to revisit her and Cristal 1.0. Nathalie did not poll well with those faceless focus groups and producers and executives dealt with her accordingly. I've always found this amusing because it was the writers and their vision of a modern Krystle which let Nathalie down.

It's a wait and see game with Dynasty.

If you're in the "previously on..." segement, some sites will credit you as part of the episode. That's why there is confusion regarding Natalie Kelley. She was seen in s2e01's previously on.

IMDB are usually known for crediting too few actors rather than too many. It usually takes a while to update. Often days or even weeks after an episode has aired.

If Dominique resonates with the audience we may not see the return of Alexis at all...and that may not be a bad thing. The motley crew of writers performed a hatchet job on Alexis, one of the most iconic characters ever to visit the small screen.

Anyone with an account can add people on IMDB, so I wouldn't use that as a source for future episodes.

Yes, and what would be the need to have to similar characters ? Unless they come back with the grotesque version of Alexis we had in season 2.

Anyway, I think Gillies will be Fallexis again, in season 3, as she showed a video en her instagram. Unless it was an old video she only released recently.

Original Alexis's entire reason for being around seemed to be revenge. NuAlexis did not seem to be revenge-minded so much as greedy. She returned because she wanted to (had to!) mooch off her rich ex-husband. She was angry about being kicked out of the mansion years ago, but she wasn't single-mindedly furious about it. I think this change was one of the reasons Alexis wasn't working in season two. I think they were trying to rectify that mistake around the time NS asked to be released. They were laying the groundwork with the fortune teller telling Alexis she would marry a rich man who dies--the general prediction was that Jeff would be the unlucky rich man--but of course that was brushed under the rug (and hastily rewritten) once NS left. If they had stuck with the original plan, Alexis would have had money/leverage against Blake (and Cristal?) in her war against them. Depending on how culpable Blake was in Jeff's death (or "death"--he might be faking it), the revenge plot would have been Blake-centric rather than what we might see in this version, which would be Adam-centric, and not as satisfying, since a lot of people want a second go at "Blake vs. Alexis". Leave Fallon and Steven to impart their revenge on Adam.

I have a story about IMDb that will tell you how unreliable they are yet still used as a source. They once credited Camryn Manheim as appearing in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as her character from The Practice, Ellenor Frutt. Manheim appeared in three episodes of the original Law & Order prior to starring in The Practice (each time in a different role) but she never appeared on SVU or any other L & O series. When the season of Law & Order: SVU containing the episode in which Manheim supposedly appeared was released on DVD the company which produced the DVDs listed Manheim as a co-star in the DVD packaging.

I agree. If Nu Dominque has to be the manipulative greedy bitch who wants money, Alexis has to come back immensely rich, for revenge and humiliation.

Alexis vs Blake & Cristal
Adam vs Steven & Fallon

This would make so much sense.

What ? A plot that make sense ? So I guess we won't have it on screen :D

When it comes to new Dynasty I think you've just answered your own question. TNT Dallas was copping criticism for plot-lines moving to swiftly. Now new Dynasty is copping criticism for non-existent plots...or plots not resolved.

In both cases we should be looking at those behind the scenes; writers, show-runner, executive/producers. Their incompetence is seeping through the screen. So the big question should be. How do they not see their own failures?
