Overall I find season seven weak, especially compared to the preceding ones, but I do love those scenes because Pam is so beautiful in her heartbreak. The unspoken feelings and emotions leading up to their reconciliation is the best part of that year, I have to say. I guess that's why "Swan Song" is so amazing overall because the story has been building for the entire season.

Thank you for sharing those Victoria screencaps Tommie. Watching them makes me really curious to watch this movie. It's still on my pile of DVD's to watch... ;)

I totally agree with you. The best part of this season was Bobby & Pam's slow reconciliation. Everything in the season just played up perfectly to "Swan Song"...
I remember watching an episode of this season at a friends house when I was about 9-10 years old. My friend was totally into the show and was waiting for Bobby and Pam to reunite. She wanted them to be together.

I didn't get it then. Anyway about 1 ½ year later I was hooked on Dallas and I called up my friend to tell her but she told me that she had quit watching the show! :(
I don't know if it was Pam's exit or Bobby's return in the shower that had made her give up on the show but it was one of those things.

Then as for season seven I think what dragged the season down was.
1. Donna Reed as Miss Ellie
2. The introduction of Jamie and Jack. For some reason the Ewing cousins were never that interesting to me.
3. The drawn out court battle for control over Ewing Oil.

So I think those things made the season's quality drop a bit from the high it was on the previous season.

However I did like the introduction of Mandy Winger. (Don't kill me Sarah!) I liked her as Cliff's girlfriend. But not as much as I liked Afton of course.

But yeah the best part of the season was definitely Bobby & Pam's story... :)

Thanks for sharing the song with us @Tina Ewing I had never heard it before. :)
I think it's great when music inspires you to make a banner or video.

I've finally finished a brand new video. A Bobby & Pam one to a song that just inspired me from the first time I heard it. I just knew I had to make a video to it. It's uploading to youtube now as we speak but in the meantime I thought I'd share a screencap of the front page since it works nicely as a fan art:

I hope you will check out the new video. :)

Just stumbled across some old Patrick interviews from youtube and thought that I'd share them here:

Thanks for sharing the videos, Karin! I love listening to Patrick's voice especially when he uses his lower register. Thank God he didn't lose his voice for good after rupturing his vocal cords in his twenties.

You're welcome Tina. :)
Yeah it's a good thing his vocal cords healed and well enough to sing even!

Sorry I just couldn't resist! :D

Patrick is always so embarrased everytime he's asked about this :D But Mireille Mathieu is still huge in France as far as I know and pairing her with one of the most popular TV actors in the 80's was a recipe for success.

I agree Patrick is embarrassed whenever that song comes up!:D
I don't think I would ever have heard of Mireille Mathieu if she hadn't done the duets with Patrick though...

Oh and tonight I thought I'd share some old magazine scans photos of Victoria from an at home reportage from the 1980's:

Thank you for reposting these VP caps Tommie. They are great. :)

I'm yet to watch this movie but it's on my pile of DVD's to watch...

Also tonight I stumbled over this clip with Patrick and the crab. :lolo:

Apparently the crab has a dirty mind...

I watched it couple days ago. Isn't it funny? Patrick mentioned in an interview that it had been his son and daughter-in-law's idea. I'd love to see some sort of continuation of these videos but the creators have been busy with other projects apparently.

Yeah the crab clips are hilarious! :lolo:

Well I think Patrick's been busy too. I mean he did these before Dallas came back on the air again on TNT so... ;)

Here's another one where he's singing again:

and one about social media:
