If I get enough interest for a return of SCBB I will start working on tasks and behind the scenes activities.

I’m also thinking this version will be an alternative take on the game where each contestant’s new identity will be a TV character rather than working on something completely new.

As always, all members playing the game will be anonymous and in character of their choice.

The public vote on the sidebar is just for fun because I’m expecting most people to vote no, even if they were not a member when SCBB was played last year.

But I Do NEED members to contact me privately so I can make that decision to work on the game.

Thanks

Why would anyone vote "no"?? The game only features in one particular forum, all you have to do is not click on it if you're not interested.

I don't understand why either. No one is forced to participate or even to read the threads. However, Brexit and Trump has taught me that sometimes there is no logic behind why the people vote a certain way.

Maybe it also depends on how you read the question.
If they weren't interested the first time then it's very likely they won't be interested the second time.
"I don't care" is not the same as "I don't want it to happen". But the poll only has 2 options.

However, if I didn't care I'd probably not vote at all. They chose to vote "no".

The first game was a huge success, how come they don't want a second season?
It's really a slap in the face to us ex-SCBB stars. I'm feeling a bit cancelled.

The poll results are looking very promising.

Now I just need all those 'yes' voters to contact me privately and let me know if they wish to join in the fun and act like a completely different character to what we are used to.

Aw that's unfair. I voted no, simply because I don't like Big Brother. You can't give people a choice if you don't agree with it. Just change the votes to 'IT'S COMING BACK SUCKERS'.

Excellent Sarah, you've made sense of why we have some votes saying 'NO'

I voted no, simply because I don't like Big Brother.

And completely justified me for asking this question I posted yesterday.

"Do you vote in polls regardless of knowing what the question is about?"

Obviously, you had no idea of what you were voting for right? Because Soap Chat Big Brother is not a TV programme, it's a forum game based loosely on a TV show, it has nothing to do with the actual show, but all about some forum members getting together to have a little fun in their spare time.

You can't give people a choice if you don't agree with it.

You can if you are asking them if they want to see the return of a forum game. The question is not about whether someone likes Big Brother, which is where you made the mistake of voting 'no'

Unless you actually voted against forum members playing the SCBB game, then that is fine, but I'd be curious why you don't want others to have any fun in the Big Brother forum.

:( Aw no. Here's a new poll question 'Do you like making others feel guilty?' sniff.

Aw that wasn't my intention at all - I read the question as personal to me, which I believe what polls are about. But of course I want others to have fun, so by all means, if my vote sways it I'm happy to change it to a yes. It's not as though you're asking me to save Mandy Winger from a fatal, horrific accident.

I know it wasn't because I honestly believe you voted unaware of how it looks. If someone is unfamiliar with the game we played last year, how can they really know what the poll is about? I only set it up after someone asked me in private if I was going to run another game. The real purpose of the poll was to generate some interest or discussion on the subject.

The poll was never going to be taken seriously, none of the polls should be, it's only a bit of fun.

I'm pretty sure some votes for yes doesn't mean they want to play the game.

Somewhere deep in the back of my mind, I find it fascinating how people react to certain things and I like to watch how the polls go when the question isn't as simple as choosing between day and night.

There are some great poll questions to come that people have sent me.

AND..... If you are in for the game, have a think about the character in which you wish to appear as.

One has already been taken.
