Very good @TJP! Your teaser about the homepage is very intriguing, just like the series itself. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have on the menu, for the 40th.

Angela gives Cole a taste of wine, during a meeting in her infamous study. She is lining him up to become her heir. Firstly to make Lance toe the line more and secondly to show us that she intends FC to stay in the hands of the family, when the magnificent vineyard in the sky becomes her eternal home. The wine Cole drinks is a very old Gioberti product and it is very dear to Angela's heart, (a scene from season 1, 1981 - '82):

Cole: "What is it?"

Angela: "That is history Cole! It was bottled by your great great grandfather."

He was an Italian immigrant, who came to America a little bit for the Gold Rush. But at least he had the sense, to bring some of the old family vines. That was gold to Joseph.

He was married to a Swede, Tessa. She was so stubborn. It was a strange combination, a passionate Italian and a mystical Swede. They produced strange people. Us!"

This is amazing, you did such a great job it pulling everything together and what a joy to see the cast members as they are now and sharing their fondness for the show.

I look forward to seeing your weekly instalments of updates.

The celebratory greetings from David, Lorenzo, Ana and Susan are marvellous. Seeing them and hearing them celebrate 40 years of the unforgettable wine saga is a great bonus, for all followers. It is also nice to be able to read the messages from other cast members and the crew personnel. Thank you very much @TJP!

After all the drama of the season 6 finale i.e.

- Kit, Tony and Peter go on the run.

- Angela gets the shock of her life, when she discovers what really happened 45 years ago.

- Emma threatens to commit suicide, by jumping off the FC roof.

- Chase, Melissa, Dan and Richard are in the San Francisco Bay.

AND

- Chao-Li tumbled on the stairs, of the mansion. He is suffering from a pain in his back and his head.

Angela visits her main man in hospital, (a scene from season 7, 1987 - '88):

Chao-Li: "But what about Emma?"

Angela: "Lance got her down, off the ledge and calmed her down! Look I'm coming back in the morning. Now I don't want you to give the nurses a hard time. I want a good report!"

Chao-Li: "Thank you Mrs. Channing!"

Angela: "You just get well Chao-Li. That's thanks enough for me. See ya tomorrow."

Chao-Li smiles at Angela. Mrs. Channing then receives a devastating phone call from Dan Fixx, about what happened in the Bay.

Thanks a lot!

It was hell of a lot of fun to do these videos with the cast. We actually wanted to do a mini-reunion with them, but the pandemic kept me from traveling to L.A. this year, so we were fortunate that modern means of communication made things easier. I was really happy the cast members filmed their segments on their own, using their smart phones or laptop cameras. But we had a lot of fun to prepare, discuss and edit this short video. We gave them a lot of leeway, of course, whether they wanted to speak freely or use something “scripted”. In our preparations, we all felt how much the fanbase means to these wonderful people.
Just a little something from behind the scenes: Susan, who has become a wonderful friend my wife and I love dearly, asked me what I might want her to say, and — having known her personally for many years now — I thought it would be perfect to blend our mutual disgust for the new producers’ disgraceful approach to the final season into Susan’s very charming yet self-confident way of speaking. We discussed my suggestion, and the way she presented turned out so beautifully. I think neither Susan nor our staff can stop laughing, thinking about all the fun we had.

I enjoyed the surprise videos a lot. Haha Susan Sullivan basically putting her two fingers up at the season 9 production team, in an elegant way though. Good for her. I would have done exactly the same thing. HAPPY 40th year to Falcon Crest! Thanks to fc.org for their hard work, so we can all celebrate this important year.

Good for you @TJP and your team! How cool to have Maggie's alter ego as a friend. Susan is very polished and it was dreadful that she got the boot in the 9th season, even having to say it was her decision to leave. Wendy Phillips just didn't fill the void, with all due respect to her. Nobody could've, come to that.

Maggie has amnesia; after recovering from the explosion, at Richard's mansion - the 4th cliffhanger. The Falcon Crest matriarch and Chase's wife meet, (a scene from season 5, 1985 - '86):

Maggie: "Do I know you?"

Angela: "Oh! I'm Angela.......Angela Channing."

Maggie: "Ah! Angela Channing, I certainly know about you."

(Cue Maggie's novel 'Sudden Friendship' waiting in the wings).

Susan was fired and found out about her death by reading the script
The whole sequence with Angela
ANGELA
Has Richard tried to contact you?
MAGGIE
Not yet.
MAGGIE
You seem surprised.
ANGELA
You and Richard were ... very close. But that's neither here nor
there.
MAGGIE
I think it is. I need to know everything I can about my life
before that night.
ANGELA
This is something you and Chase should discuss.
MAGGIE
I've tried. He seems to avoid the subject.
ANGELA
I'd better get back to Falcon Crest.
MAGGIE
Why do I get the impression that everybody around here is trying to protect me from something?
ANGELA
Your marriage was in serious trouble, Maggie. It was rumored
that you and Richard were having an affair.
Angela was a snake

Melissa: "I look forward to seeing you on the big screen, the small screen, whatever screen...or just on the street"

That was my favourite comment.
Lance was also super lovely.

A big surprise will be waiting for you on the homepage itself.
I first read this post on my telephone and because I was expecting the spectacular announcement of the Season 4 DVD my finger started to tremble so hard I almost couldn't touch the link!
Well, no more DVDs and I didn't realize that the image I was looking at was a video. I clicked on "English" and when I was in the menu I couldn't find the surprise

For me the best thing about Falcon Crest was the romance between Richard and Maggie
Susan Sullivan enchanted me in Rich Man Poor Man. David on flamingo Road. It was great to see them so in love at Falcon Crest
In memory of a great television love
