Government Let Down Students With Botched A-Level Result System

It's absolutely heartbreaking how students are being penalised by this government regarding A-level results. The system the government are using to award A-Level results is marking down so many young people unfairly. The algorithm they are using is adjusting predictions based on past...

Biden Picks His VP -- Kamala The Cop!

Like her, I'm also the child of a Jamaican father (my mother was also Jamaican) so although I'm not sure about her politics, her heritage is first class. I think she will broaden the appeal of the Biden campaign so it was a smart appointment on his part.

    Tea/coffee: With sugar or without?

These kind of discussions always remind me of this scene in Airplane! (1980).

Superman Who played Lois Lane the best?

Noel Neill. I hadn't realised that 2 different actresses played Lois Lane in the Gorge Reeve series so I might be confusing the two. I just felt this series portrayed the character closer to how Lois was written in the comics.

Is Laura one of the worst characters on Knots?

I broadly agree with you. I really loved Laura's character in the early seasons, so complex, multi-layered and fascinating but after Richard left and she hooked up with Sumner I felt she became a little boring because they didn't really know what to do with her.

    The Great Vivien Leigh

I think it's a weird film because the character she played was clearly a prostitute but because there were so many delicate people around at the time they couldn't portray her as such. So for the entirety of the film they skirted around the subject in a way that just seems daft and completely...

    Wearing Face Coverings In Shops

The next time these people go into a cafe the staff shouldn't wash their hands before serving them because it's an infringement of their rights to insist that they should adhere to strict hygiene practices.

    Wearing Face Coverings In Shops

They don't have to wear surgical grade masks just a face covering. I'm sure that woman has a scarf, a sock, a tshirt or another item of clothing that she could used to cover her face. Ideally she should have 2 items, the second to stuff in her mouth to prevent her spouting more nonsense.

    The Brady-Partridge War

I've only ever seen her in the film Airplane (1980) in which she played the mother of a sick girl on a drip.

'The Single-Handed Destruction of "Falcon Crest" by Kristian Alfonso's Pilar Ortega'

Well that's just plain daft that they got rid of her prematurely when she was still under contract. However, they ran out of things they could do with her.

'The Single-Handed Destruction of "Falcon Crest" by Kristian Alfonso's Pilar Ortega'

I can understand why it all happened. Falcon Crest was not getting the viewers it once enjoyed so they had to cut the budget. Ana-Alicia would have been on a relatively high wage as she was playing a long running major character, so axing her and introducing a new character made sense...
