    Welcome to your new forums.

Love the new name-- "Telly Talk"; seeing as this is a forum about all of television (as evidenced by the forums about not just the main serials [Dallas, Knots Landing, Dynasty, Falcon Crest], but also television in general, as well as miscellaneous and sundry forums for everything else), I think...

    Changes to your forums

I know that soaps were not the only thing on the menu-- you did have a number of other lively subforums, a few of which I took a great deal of advantage of. BTW, will my post count here carry forward to the new Telly Addicts, or will I have to start over?

JR Ewing: Too Offensive For 2020? Part I

Which is why I allow others to have every freedom whatsoever in whatever shows are in their DVD collections of shows, including Dallas-- I may not care for many shows on now (I prefer the classics), but that's just me; others truly enjoy what's on now, and they should indeed have that freedom.

    Best police series?

One of my most favorites is from the 30-minute era (1957-60 on NBC, w/Lee Marvin as Lt. Frank Ballinger of the titular fictional squad of the Chicago Police): Another is a 60-minute one from the 70s (1972-77 on ABC, w/Karl Malden [Lt. Mike Stone], Michael Douglas [Insp. Steve Keller, 1972-76]...

    First-run syndication

IIRC, when it was on WPVI Channel 6 in Philly (6ABC, ABC O&O of that area), that's the time slot it had.
