Your task this round is to nominate 20 chart songs from the year 1982
To make this easy for everyone, we are looking at songs that made the chart in 1982, so if it was a hit in December 1981 and then continued in the charts in January 1982 it’s eligible.
Also note that some songs are chart hits in different years depending on the country.
To avoid duplicates where a song crosses over two years, I will eliminate it in future rounds. No one wants the same song winning twice.
Back to the year and this time we are revisiting 1982

Speculate who you think might have chosen 1982 in this thread, but keep you choice until we make our votes.
Posting a link for each nomination would be ideal, that way others can watch/listen and decide whether they want to include that song in their final ten.
If possible (not compulsory) try to avoid posting the videos as this slows down the thread.
Staying with the same format. Once the nominations are complete, I will post the final list and everyone can then check out all the nominated songs and vote for their favourite ten from other member's lists.
To clarify for any newcomers: The idea is, we all nominate songs we like (based on the title/theme of the thread). We then check out each other's nominations and pick a favourite ten from their lists.
20 songs is the maximum, but if you don't have 20 anything less is fine.
