Hint: It's kind of a trick question:)

"Just sign it, 'To my favorite brother-in-law.' "

Ah...ok. Like Cliff-to-Bobby or Bobby-to-Cliff, spoken tongue-in-cheek. Still can't place it.

I guess it's not really fair:shifty:

because it was part of a two part crossover episode. The line spoken was in the KL one. It was JR to Valene when he stopped by her book signing event for Capricorn Crude.

This one is definitely from Dallas:
"Nothing turns me on like a crooked business deal."

Would have no clue what went on there. I myself didn't other shows with family intrigue, and only used Dynasty as a night light when I wanted to bust a move on the wife. For me, Dallas was as much about Texas and the city and the great Southwest as much as it was about the family, in spite of the producers not knowing much of the region.

"Nothing turns me on like a crooked business deal."

Uh oh...could be Marilee, JR. Hmm, who else could it be?

You are correct!" Marilee said it to JR when they were settling up Cliff in seadin 5.

Here's another: "What's good for the country is not necessarily good for Ewing Oil."

I think JR said that to Miss Ellie, and Miss Ellie replied with something like "That's awful". ???

JR's appearance on Knots Landing at the beginning of season 4 when he meets up with Valene and Abby is a hoot!

This may not be exact, but I love the line.

"You better hurry up Marilee before someone takes your street corner"
Pam's one-episode-best-friend Leanne Rees, aka Amber, who'd returned to her previous ways after running JR's setup for powerful financier Ben Maxwell and was trying to recruit Ms. Stone for her stable, not realizing she was a powerful oil company owner in her own right.

Ok, again maybe not, it sounds like JR?

Sounds like JR but can’t remember exactly when, possibly later in the series.

“Well until you do, you’d better be damned careful who you’re calling a thief and a liar!”

JR to Marilee at the Oil Barons. I think James was with JR.

“Well until you do, you’d better be damned careful who you’re calling a thief and a liar!”

I know it was Jock saying it...to Vaughn. The situation...Vaughn Leland vowing revenge on the Asian lease deal.

One of Cally's brothers when Cousin Sims, who was a guard at the detention farm, delivered JR to a get-away car that had the brother in the back seat.
