What I´d like to know is if this time it was Nicollette the one who slapped some co-star´s a**... (there are many nice ones to choose from, I read here...) and she was kindly shown the door.I still think they should hire Faye Dunaway as Alexis' mommie dearest. Although she hasn't been seen ever since she got fired from that one woman play for slapping crew members.
but I imagine that they'll just ignore the voice issue (which I think is for the best).
I can't think of any classic soap recasts who had to mimic their predecessors….I hope she'll make Alexis her own and won't try ( or be forced) to mimic Nicolette S.
We didn't have to suffer this accent change in France. As it was french voiced over.I think Karen Cellini sort of did try to do a British accent in her first scene as Amanda, but of course gave it up quickly.
And that was good decision. Anyway, with the material Emma was given, copying Pamela Sue Martin's Fallon would have been quite useless. OG Fallon was a rich spoiled brat. But writers wrote Emma's Fallon as Daddy's Princess... Till season 9 (David Paulsen, I can't thank you enough for season 9 Fallon. And season 9 in general)Actually, Emma Samms claimed that she never watched original Fallon scenes because she didn't want to copy any PSM stuff.
If Alexis was still at the mansion when Trixie died, then having her turn up to testify would be a sound plot point. Up to now I've been under the impression Trixie's accident occurred after Alexis was banished, but I don't recall their saying one way or the other. It would finally (in my mind at least) explain where/why this whole Trixie idea came from, and why it was thrown in seemingly out of nowhere--and why they wrote that Blake disposed of the body rather than getting Anders or another servant to do it. Trixie as the new Ted Dinard. Could all this be....[shudders] planned from the beginning??? If so, my opinion of their ability to map out long-term story projections just expanded exponentially.I imagine that she'll be called to witness at Blake's trial and she'll either enter with a veil or huge sunglasses covering her face (cue Blake groaning how overdramatic Alexis is). I bet this is the episode 9/winter cliffhanger.
