Boris has announced that shops and gyms are to open in England from 12 April, with social contact limits relaxed from 21 June. Not sure what it means for the rest of the 'United' Kingdom yet, but hopefully this means we are going in the right direction.

Let’s hope you guys are finally getting back to normal soon! I can imagine the lockdown must be tough to deal with but maybe it worked enough that some things can be opened up a little.

So, my work colleagues are arranging a big party late summer to celebrate the end of lockdown. When I say colleagues, many of them are also very dear and long standing friends. Either at the end of the year but more likely next year my family and I are going to take a fab foreign holiday. What are you guys planning after the end of the health restrictions?

I think the first thing I will do is drive down to see my niece and nephew and hug them both very, very hard. We don’t have a lockdown here but I haven’t seen them in 7 months because their mom is at high risk. I really can’t wait to have them back in my life.
