Remember when we had elections (and election coverage) done right? 40 years ago, we had an election between Jimmy Carter and the late Ronald Reagan; Reagan won the election in a landslide, but what made that election great (this coverage is from CBS) was that Carter basically said (in concession to Reagan), "You win-- now get sworn in and go to it," instead of all the bloodbaths and food fights of today's elections.
