Just wanted to post this to remember our beloved Larry Hagman on what would have been his 88th birthday.

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying how much I miss him and everyone who knows me knows how much I love his partnership with Linda Gray. Together they created a magic in JR and Sue Ellen that I'd never seen before or since. I was lucky to meet him a few times, the last just weeks before he passed away. Even then he hadn't lost his spirit or sense of humour.

It's funny because in many ways I feel Larry is still here. Sometimes, something will happen and whether good or bad I try to think what he would do in that situation. I know he wouldn't want any of us to be sad, but to do everything to live life to the fullest.

He left us with one hell of a memory. So, on 21st September, let's everyone have a GONG BONG! in his honour.

You're the best Larry. We love you.

I was travelling home yesterday and Larry did cross my mind. You see I had a change of flight in Frankfurt, which was the same airport that I changed flights on after the 30th Anniversary BBQ in 2008. That time I came from Dallas and Larry and Maj was on the same flight to Europe as we were. They were in first class so we didn't talk to them on the flight. Anyway the last I ever saw of them was at the Frankfurt airport when we got off the plane and I saw them get into a car that drove away towards the sunrise.

So changing flights at Frankfurt last night made me think of that. Also Lufthansa's flights are shortened LH on all their boarding cards and screens. ;)

Also like Sarah I can still sense Larry's presense at times. He did impact a lot of people's lives in a good way. :)
