There is a scene in the show where Jerry is in bed and he gets a call during the night. There is the strangest looking clock on his bedside table (I've tried googling it but don't know what it's called), and I don't know how he even sleeps with it in the room. Any know what it is??

Is there a nice pic of his clock to jog our memories of what it looks like? ;-)

It was big and I think triangular with a large stick that went back and forward, tick tock tick tock, really loudly. Looked like a clock face but wasn't covered with glass.

Dream season this was :)

Like a pendulum clock? Or something completely different?

No it was on his bedside. The last time I saw one was on Frasier when his piano teacher touches the dial on it and it starts to swing when she's giving him lessons.

It must have been some novelty clock, merging the two into one. The constant ticking would be annoying as hell tbh lol

Oh... Clock!

:eyes:
I haven't had coffee yet so I definitely saw the same thing... I got a bit excited, really....

It's one of those things you get used to and you basically don't hear it anymore.

My parents have one of those clocks that dings every hour. We hardly hear it but guests jump when it goes off LOL

Even though a clock marks time, the sound of a ticking clock always create an unhurried feeling for me. It's one of my favourite sounds. It has to be just the right sort of ticking though. I have a number of ticking clocks in my home and even though I don't notice them much of the time I'd feel an absence if the ticking stopped. I like to think they'll stop ticking when I do - like in the song.

How lovely.

I'd very much like a clock with an hourly chime. It's another sound I find very comforting. Like the ticking, it has to be the right kind of ding. Something with a little weight to it but slightly playful too. I usually buy a clock primarily based on how it looks and it just happens none of the ones I've been drawn to have the chime. A couple of years ago I bought a contemporary cuckoo clock (nicer than it sounds) but after two hours the sound drove me to distraction and it was hastily sent back to John Lewis.

Well, a metronome is used to help keep a steady rhythm, so...
