My hair's so long I now look like Killer Bob's idiot brother.

There is a heatwave coming. I don't know how people have long hair in the heat!

I have also noticed that now my hair is grown out around the sides and back that I am much greyer than I normally appear. You cant tell just how grey you are when the sides are all neatly clipped and short. I seem to have a lot of grey just above my ears. Not really at my temples but a bit lower. I'm not bothered by it as I have been getting grey since my mid twenties. It's just I have never seen it grown out this much like actual long silver hairs! It's so weird.

I finally got a haircut yesterday! Three months after my last one, all thanks to my good friend. It's crazy the effect having grown out unkempt hair was having on my mood. It was making me feel awful. Having a hair cut has made me feel so much better even though I still cant get back to work yet and have nowhere to go.

My barnet is a bit of an issue at present. Not quite as bad as Worzel Gummidge but I'm getting there.

I finally had enough of looking like a Dulux dog and got mine cut last week. I did my usual thing of showing the barber a picture of Paul Weller (sharp-looking pop star off of the '80s), saying "I'd like something like that", and then just replying "Yes" to every question he asks after that, until he's finished.

I don’t have any hair or
Not much anyway. I have been buzzing my own head for years. Next to none and holding my late furbaby.

Went to get my hair cut last week, and the differences were...interesting.

When I last went, they had just been allowed to re-open, and had everyone wait outside (only three or four people were allowed in at a time). They were checking our temperatures and of course masks and hand sanitizer everywhere. They theatrically wiped down and swept everything between customers and pulled away from everyone to socially distance. It was all regimented and uncomfortable, but we were willing to put up with it in order to stop looking like vagrants or hippies.

Last week I walked right in, was escorted right to a chair (no temp check), and though she had a mask on, she said I didn't have to wear mine if I didn't want to (I did anyway). There was hair on the floor from the last customer. Things went pretty much like pre-March 2020. And the cut was probably better than that last one (not that you can do much with my rat's nest).

We'd all been there! I'm getting a haircut on Tuesday again... Living a life of absolute luxury!
Well that all went out the window. I had to cancel as I have cold symptoms and am still awaiting my 2 weekly Covid test results. This virus is really out to destroy all my happiness.

I think men are worse during this crisis for some reason. I've never seen so many men want haircuts.

I haven't had mine cut since January, but my hair is really thick anyway. And getting thicker.

Well to be honest women can get away with it more. They usually have mid length to long hair and can wear it and style it many ways. Most men are used to having their hair short and tidy and when a short haircut grows out a bit it makes you look really unkempt and scruffy. Most guys get a haircut about every 3 or 4 weeks. I have friends who do it more often! When the hair around my ears and at the back of my neck gets a little too long it makes me feel awful. It's so weird to explain. It makes me feel lazy and messy.

You're just like good grooming @Alexis :)

I'm lucky because my hair is so long and thick I can walk about like Princess Leia with my hair in bunches and it wouldn't matter. Not that I do this.

I'm currently growing my hair like that bloke from the Human League. I think I look pretty cool but it is difficult finding hats that have one side longer than the other.

That's me-- I have to get it done that often; I usually have it high and tight (as the military would put it).
