Should Dallas have been cancelled more outrageously?

If the cliff hanger was going to be the end of the show, do you think it could have been bigger and more over-the-top?

Bobby and Ann wake up in the morning, only to discover that it's still dark outside.
They go outside and discover the reason for the unnatural darkness: a giant UFO as big as Southfork is blocking all the sunlight.

Christopher catches a strange virus which turns him into an aggressive cannibal.
Instead of the explosion, Elena gets in the car and he kisses her and then he starts to eat her face, literally.

Carmen, still very pissed about the whole situation, casually puts an Mexican-folklore spell on Southfork, not knowing it would actually work.
Instead of drilling or fracking for oil, the oil itself works its way from under the land, and it becomes a thick, evil, black blob that threatens the Ewing land and every person on it.
They're all screaming and running to save their lives.

Judith blackmails John Ross into working for her as Dallas' Most Special Male Whore, and at the exact same time he's performing his best performance, Nicolas Trevino's plane crashes into Madam Judith's house of wicked pleasures.

Pamela divorces John Ross and marries the King of the Artic. which puts her in control of the Artic leases deal.

Harris Ryland also secretly works for the KGB, MGM, NASA, SPECTRE and PSS.
Emma confronts him with his shenanigans and he strangles her to death.

Sue Ellen is in her bathroom, she looks in the mirror and starts to scream when she sees the reflection of Drew Ramos standing behind her.

Cliff Barnes, still in jail, reads the newspaper that reports all those unfortunate incidents, and laughs demoniacally.

The End.

Or should it be more outrageous?

Sue Ellen stabs the entire cast. Winds up in bed with Mama Ryland.

The End.

It should have ended with the season 2 ending, but not have had Emma with John Ross. We just find out who killed JR and Emma goes away where she came from before she showed up.

Nope, season 2 ending was fine. They didn't need that scene with John Ross at the end with Emma. Most of the season 2 finale was good enough to close the show. We shouldn't have gotten a season 3, the 3rd season was too much the same with the crimes and south Americans. Plus the last episode of course had to add those two stupid scenes at the end to ruin it and make Nicolas still alive out there. The way they ended season 2 was good but didn't need those last few scenes, Emma should have just fled Dallas. The way they ended 3 was almost just as good with that mess being taken care of by Nicolas, but then him still being alive and those last 2 scenes ruined it. More questions unanswered.

They should've ended the show with Victoria Principal waking up and saying "Oh Gawd, not again!"

Freeze Frame end of the show. :)

2017 I think (unless it is 2016)
No season three, no Juan Pablo Di Pace
I don't want to live in a world with no Juan Pablo Di Pace, even if the Faustian deal is to have Cidre keep muddling Dallas for its last season.

John Ross fracks on Southfork. This results in the house being swallowed up into a fiery hell. Biblical. Apocalyptic. Perfect.
Another one is JR and John Ross after years of wheeling and dealing finally get their wish and tap into the oil sitting below Southfork. As family and friends gather there for the annual Ewing Bar-b-que one of those oil wells blows up, unleashing a chain of events.

I want it to be huge. A take no prisoners approach to acknowledge this was THE show known for its cliffhangers. Then as the camera pans over the remains of a still burning Southfork it zooms in, focusing on a smouldering photo of Miss Ellie. Poetic justice!

And then as the freeze frame of the smouldering photo of Miss Ellie happens, we're all sitting there thinking who thought up this travesty of a continuation show! When behold the Executive Producers credit comes up on the screen announcing it's Mike Robin & Cynthia Cidre, where upon I aim the shot gun I have in my hand & fire it at the screen!!

If the Christmas Card doesn't get her, the shot gun will!! :D
