Never seen it (and thanks to all the wretched injustice in this world I never will) but this looks properly dark and dramatic, and with a touch of Dali-esque surrealism.

Can you see it here? Concentrate ... concentrate ...

I thought I knew what it was....but I remember it in colour.

I think we're just about to go to colour.

Very clever, James. Because if I concentrate I might see something I like, get hooked and find - in fact - all of it one you-know-where.
I've never been tempted to watch it but not because I thought it wouldn't be good.
If I remember correctly you kinda felt the same thing, What changed your mind and how do you feel about it now that you're watching it?

It's the Duchess of Branagh from Dynasty
Of course, because "Dynasty" is everywhere.
I couldn't find the scene so it must have happened in a micro-second. All the more praise for screenshooting the scene!

Oh, I thought you wanted to watch it but couldn't.

If I remember correctly you kinda felt the same thing, What changed your mind and how do you feel about it now that you're watching it?

Yes, I did. Well remembered! I'm not sure what changed my mind exactly, but seeing it in fairly decent quality helps. It's surprisingly satisfying viewing, a bit like The Brothers but more sordid. One episode a week is just fine.

I couldn't find the scene so it must have happened in a micro-second. All the more praise for screenshooting the scene!

Thanks! But I linked you the first episode in which the Duchess of Branagh goes to prison for a crime she didn't commit (burying her rapist's baby).

This is what happens fifteen episodes later, after she's cried, gone on hunger strike, cried, discovered she's pregnant by her rapist, cried, been found not guilty of burying her rapist's baby, cried, been released from prison, cried, got married, cried, and then become the getaway driver in a botched bank robbery, widowed and lost a baby all in the same day, been rearrested and sent back to the same prison where she's just had the last vestige of hope of sucked out her. Hopefully, I've queued it up to the happy denouement:

The comment was about the reflection image which, I presumed, was taken from Brookside or one of the other UK soaps.
One episode a week is just fine.
I think the possibility to binge watch it was discussed right after we've finished our epic Sons & Daughters marathon and maybe that had put me in the wrong frame of mind.

That sounds very interesting!
