Bell has been stuck on triangle mode for so long that he can't write about a character without giving them two love interests. I stopped watching when Liam dumped Stuff again for that wet blanket Hope.

They did bring back Spectra for a little while, but then axed everyone but Sally the great niece of the original. The writers have trouble with characters who aren't sexually attracted to Brooke.
