Hard to call this a "discovery" when I heard it on the UK Chart Show, but it's coming out of absolutely nowhere and is the best new house track I've heard in years (with stiff competition)

That doesn't make any difference.

I like it, but it also made me think of another house track which...wasn't so great.

Haha. Should have read the OP!! The lyric sample is of course good old Nelly Furtado - who you can't really go wrong with for a pop hit - from Big Hoops - her last UK Top 40 single in 2012, which seems insane given how long she was everywhere.

Swedish House Mafia are back after a long hiatus. The first single was a bit naff (typical SHM titled as It Gets Better) but the second is really growing on me.

I love her songs
I'm not very familiar with her discography but I liked the remix of Say It Right.
Cool song

Do you like this song which she sings in?

Mm ... PM Dreamy
There's a different thought process behind my music discoveries of the various decades.
In case of the seventies it's simpy because I wasn't aware of them, discoveries from the 1980s are defined by the surprise factor (as in: wow, they actually got it right) and discoveries from the 90s have everything to do with me being a house music fanboy in those days.
I am very familiar with the name PM Dawn but since it wasn't house music I figured it wasn't worth my time and attention.
And that's what makes 1990s non-house music such an interesting treasure trove.

I discovered this song when it was played as background music in a series episode and I didn't even know it was PM Dawn, let alone that it was a song from 1992.
Rock & Roadhouse!
