good one - I have no idea.. certainly in the post-Jock era

James in Houston when Michelle catches him in bed with the Senator and not JR, because Cally was on her way.

This was Jock to Bobby when Bobby asked if he told Miss Ellie that Jock was behind the Tacapa project.

So here's one:
I thought you learned by now. You never cross Daddy when it comes to business.

Never.

aaaahhhhh.....great line!!! Damn...the circumstance escapes me! :embarrassed:

OK...JR to Bobby re: Bobby saying to his daddy he should tell mama about Takapa. That took some digging to come up with this one.

There's a reason I enjoy these last few lines.

Bobby tells Jock, "Don't you think you should tell Momma you're one of the Takapa developers?"
Jock: Are you telling me what I gotta do these days, Bobby?
Bobby: No Sir, I just think it's fair that she knows, that's all.
Jock: Well how can a man be fair when his wife barely speaks to him? You tend to your politics, Bobby. . . Or whatever it is these days. You understand?

The best part is J.R. watched Jock chastise Bobby and this is one of the few times that J.R. actually felt like a big brother to Bobby and wanted to look out for him:

J.R.: Bobby, I thought you learned something when you were a young boy. I guess I was wrong.
Bobby: Learned what?
J.R.: Never cross Daddy when it comes to business. Never.

I liked that little moment where J.R. was actually looking out for Bobby.

Ive got one
"Before I'd do that i'd sale it; thats right i'd sale it right out from under her"

I think that's JR when Miss Ellie is planning to file for divorce, which would potentially split up Ewing assets..

edit: I agree with Bill below, it sounds like Jock, not JR!
