Well, an interesting interview alright. Too bad Jane Greer didn't appear again, even for a few episode stint in those later years. Imho she needed to be there. Hindsight is glory.
How about we catch up, on KNOTS LANDING. Are you Jock or Blake? I was only in some episodes of FALCON CREST.
Maggie's birth mother Charlotte Pershing talks about Oliver Donovan (deceased biological father of Susan Sullivan's character). This happens a little while after Angela revealed at a party, about the adoption of Chase's wife; (a scene from season 4, 1984 - '85):
Charlotte: "Your father was a fine man. Commander in the navy. You should have seen him in uniform; handsome, dashing, all of that and yet so gentle, so kind. Tall and slender and blonde like you. He was a real charmer."
Maggie: "How did you meet?"
Charlotte: "In the South Pacific. I was a singer, with a USO show. He was in charge of our transportation, getting us from base to base and entertainment GIs. Well we fell in love."
Maggie: "Must have been very romantic."
Charlotte: "Oliver was shipped out. The USO troupe came home. I heard from him once, a very loving letter."
