I understand that arguments need to be made in order to support the counter-opinion, but the result is often just as bad.
Which is - as always - losing our sense of proportion.

I never watch any political videos, national or international, but the one time I did I was baffled by the campaign of a Dutch party about the fight against the sexualization of children, which has its roots in the current debats about rights for transgender and non-binary/androgynous people.

Seriously, that's a selling point these days?? Our precious little innocent children need to be protected from people brainwashing them into sexual confusion?
This is so stupid and so typically hysterical.
Modern-day children probably know more than their parents do.

I dunno
It's just the infamous pendelum swinging back - it always happens like, err, clockwork. In itself it's fairly predictable, but more annoyingly no one tends to have learnt anything from the last time the pendelum swung and never seems to think that the pendelum will eventually swing once again.

What's the point? Social media can make issues seem more pervasive than they are, therefore the backlash to the corrupting influence of clout chasers on children is negated?

Modern day children probably know more than their parents about drugs, alcohol, and firearms too. Perhaps we should just treat kids like little adults now that it's 2023.

The title would be gender swapped today.
