If I recall there was a photo of a young girl which JR inquired about when he visited Lee Ann and her reaction was interesting. I always wondered if the showrunner of TNT Dallas was alluding to this to introduce the unknown daughter of JR as it was mentioned the mother was long dead.

They weren’t shown together in that respect but it’s definitely implied in that scene when he goes to see her to discuss what he wants her to do for him regarding setting up Pam. I think she makes the list.
