[QUOTE="stevew, post: 314616, member: 130"] 6 months later . . . John Ross, Jay, Steven and Lucy have breakfast out by the pool when Chris and Amy come out of the house. Lucy asks how the last meeting in Chicago went and Amy says, “Not bad, but I’m not sure Chris and I are on the same page. He wants a neon sign to hedonism and I’m looking for something elegant and comfortable. We’ve got another meeting with an architect near D.C.”. Lucy says, “Well I think you should just give up and stay here and have children.” Chris says, “No this is John Ross’s house, speaking of elegant, comfortable and quaint.” John Ross says, “We could do something with the attic.” Amy says, “No. we need our own space. Besides, once you remarry.” “I’m not remarrying. Besides, if I did, I’m not having them monkey with Grandma’s house.” Chris says, “I hear you’re going to the Oil Barrons’ Ball with Pamela Barnes.” “That’s a long ways from marriage.” Lucy says, “I heard JR is going with Sue Ellen.” “Oh my God, no.” Lucy smiles at John Ross. “By the way, I saw you meeting with that guy early this morning. What was that all about?” “Nosey much.” “Considering he works for Richard Channing I thought it might be of consequence to all of us.” “We’ll Lucy dear, you did a pretty good job manipulating all of us, even my father, so I guess I might as well tell everyone here what you already know. So she managed to get us all a piece of Ewing Industries. We’re all sharing 28%, Chris, me and my three brothers, Lucy and her three siblings, and thanks to her friend, Richard Channing, Ray’s four children with share sixteen percent.” “What!” Chris shouts. “She’s also the one I’m assuming who helped Lucas find out his real father was Uncle Bobby.” Lucy looks proud. “No more secrets. Ray’s family are Ewing’s. They’re entitled to a piece.” Looking at Chris she states, “You’re by far the single largest shareholder. You run the company, no question. Well with John Ross as chairman and the board.” “Ray’s a bastard. Lucas is my father’s bastard, that the bastard Ray took in. So are John Ross’s brothers, all bastards.” John Ross says, “Watch your mouth.” “I’m just stating facts. Why should you share Ewing Industries with them? Jay says, “Got any bastards yourself daddy?” “Yeah you. Your momma and I weren’t married when you were born, thanks to your grandfather that is.” John Ross stands and walks away toward the house.
