Dermatology shows

Anyone else on Telly Talk that loves the dermatology shows on TV? Like Dr. Pimple Popper and The Bad Skin Clinic?

I am so fascinated with what the body can produce and all weird diagnoses and the treatments. I love watching cysts and lipomas being cut out. Finding out more about rare conditions. And seeing the results.

I can’t really take these kinds of shows very well but I can see how someone would find them fascinating. The human body and the mysterious things that can happen to it is definitely interesting to watch.

I can even eat while watching these shows.

But I couldn't be a dermatologist myself. My 2 great fears would be the smells and getting splashed (if a cyst bursts like an explosion when you squeeze it out). These things are no problem when you're safe in front of a screen.

I know. But I'm part of a big - no huge - army of sick people enjoying watching pimple popping, cyst removals and lipoma squeezing. And I bet Telly Talk has some closet popping addicts.

Growing up with an older sister and suffering from teenage acne, I certainly know how sick and twisted some individuals can be about pimple popping.

It does seem like a predominantly female thing though. I'm sure there's a pathology there.
