Ellen Degeneris Question

I just read an article about Ellen Degeneris' new Netflix special in which she apparently is trying to repair her image. I've read the stories about the toxic environment on her show, and she bears responsibility as the one supposedly in charge. However, does anyone knows if she personally did anything to any of the people with whom she worked?

I got tired of watching her antics ON screen. She would sign off by saying "be kind to one another" but I felt her behaviour had become tantamount to bullying - the way she liked to scare people, and especially how she belittled one of the producers on camera. It may be that it was all an act but the effect for the viewers was the same.

As The Ellen DeGeneres Show became widely popular I suspect like any organisation she simply became the figure head. I see this everyday in the business I work for. The CEO of my company lives in her bubble named Head Office, far removed from what is happening on the shop floor. Head honchos lose touch with reality and it's my impression the leader turned up, was given a run sheet, sat in her chair and said, "Next."

From what I read it was her Executive Producers or Producers creating the toxic environment...anything to protect their lofty position and/or esteem leader. Makes me wonder if any of those people still work in the entertainment industry.

If she’s trying to repair her image then I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully she’s learned from her mistakes and I’d like to see her get another chance, just as long as she’s being genuine about it.
