Even his friends from the Nixon/Ford administration said he'd later become a sociopath -- not unusual, one would think, in Washington, D.C., but Cheney apparently stood out even there.

I watched part of his funeral. I have to say, I was inspired by the bipartisan tributes while simultaneously furious about seeing a war monger/war criminal celebrated and honored as a "model public servant."

It just goes to show that they have much more in common than they let on (and most of it is abhorrent.)

George Carlin was right when he said it's a big club and we aren't in it. Not surprisingly, Cheney's funeral was a rogue's gallery of war criminals from both sides of the aisle.
