I'm in the U.S. and I'm so happy Plex with Warner Bros TV permission is permitting the whole 14 seasons on-demand. I'm not burned out tired from trying to marathon binge watch like I did last week LOL. Hopefully Plex will branch out overseas? I thought Plex was worldwide?

Plex is worldwide but what it offers depends on the whether rights are held by someone else in each country and whether Plex (or others such as Freevee) and WBD believe there’s money to be made from a show.
As far as I’m aware the WBD shows are mostly available for streamers at a reduced price under a revenue share scheme with WBD or at full price.
The former means Plex and the streamer both need to be convinced that there will be sufficient interest, with the latter the streamer needs to believe in sufficient interest… that means the more people ask for Knots, the likelier it is to show up either on Plex or another streamer.

There is also the issue that WBD is very much behind when it comes to offering its shows either via FAST channels or on demand in countries outside the US. In many countries HBO and subsequently WBD (following the merger) has exclusive contracts with local broadcasters which means that WBD is restricted in what it can do for a certain period. For example in the UK and Germany, the contract is with Sky and therefore WBD has been unable to launch MAX.
This has caused WBD to not actively set up anything on those countries and to also not actively advertise which shows would be available for other streamers to pick up (i.e. those with rights not held by Sky). In Germany for example, RTL+ specifically reached out to acquire the rights to Dallas in HD as well as Falcon Crest as both shows were big in Germany.
In “normal”‘times on the other hand WBD would actively advertise and offer shows to be acquired.

Plex is available in Australia but seems to be little more than a portal to other apps. Knots does show up in a search but it says "there are no locations currently available for this title."

For fans not in the US, I recommend investing in a VPN service, which can change your IP address to an American code, so you can have access to anything on American streaming.

So I did this totally by accident but I watched part of an episode when it was live streaming. When I re-opened Plex the next morning, it had a placeholder for me to finish the episode but it ALSO had the ability to go into Plex's archive of the show so now I can watch any episode I like when I want. I will never complete an episode now when I turn it off lol.

I'm going to try it with Falcon Crest which will run Season 4 tomorrow. I noticed they went from streamong the whole show to one season per show at a time. Today was Sisters and tomorrow FC.

Plex sends out emails occasionally to give its viewers ideas of what's available to see. It was kind of fun to get an email today promoting their acquisition of Knots Landing.
According to their website, it is their second most watched offering on the website.

Is there any news out there about FLAMINGO ROAD coming to stream? If memory serves, I thought I remember rumor of it also coming to streaming the same time as KNOTS.

Update: FLAMINGO ROAD is on Plex.

Correction. FLAMINGO ROAD isn't on Plex. You can search it and find it, but it says it isn't available on any streaming service.

What I do find amusing is before some episodes(presumably depending on where they were sourced from) you get a recap of the previous episode with the most cheesy voice-over guy ever

I forgot the name, but the announcer was a guy that CBS requested. CBS had their own announcer and demanded that Lorimar use him for the recap / preview and the bumpers. In the early years, it might have been Roy Rowan, but I'm not entirely sure.

Is there any news on whether/when we can expect remastered episodes to become available for purchase ( à la Dallas)? I do appreciate the Plex streams but the quality, which is not helped by the terrible interlacing and the weird format, is abysmal. I thought I had read here somewhere that Warner was cleaning up the Knots epiodes, too. I note that Knots is the number one trending show on Plex so I’m sure there’s demand!
