I see The O.C’s Mischa Barton has been cast in the revival. Not sure if it’s a guest spot or a regular role. Guy Pearce has also said he’ll return to tie up the Mike & Jane ending that we got in the finale.

This seems like the right time for soaps that have been canceled to make a comeback. After Neighbours, the longest-running French soap Plus Belle La Vie, which ended last November, will also return.

I see the revived Neighbours will be airing on terrestrial TV here in Ireland again, back on RTE where it aired before being axed (Freevee isn’t available here).
