I was in two minds if to watch this documentary or not? because sadly we all know the outcome of Nikki’s lifelong battle with Anorexia Nervosa and very selfishly a part of me just wanted to remember the Nikki I saw in Big Brother . In the end I was glad I did.

Nikki’s Mother Sue Grahame has my deepest respect for being open and honest about her daughter’s struggle and I was concerned that she might’ve though Big Brother exploited Nikki, I couldn’t have been more wrong. For Nikki it became a safe place because she was protected, looked after and had an identity away from “the girl with the eating disorder”.

This documentary naturally made for very moving and sad viewing , but there were times I smiled as they showed Nikki at the happiest times of her life. I won’t say more in case I spoil this for anyone else who might want to view it.

I watched this as well. I had no idea just how ill she had been before she went in to Big Brother. It was a really brave thing to do, but it changed her life.

Sadly, she indirectly became another victim of this awful pandemic. Those photos near the end were very shocking, but I think it is important to keep highlighting anorexia. It is a really terrible disease.

This was such a good documentary. My heart went out to her mother. It was great to be reminded of all the fun moments Nikki gave us over the years but it was also genuinely heart-breaking. God knows how many other people were plunged into a similar hell because of lockdowns and didn't survive it. So sad,

It also made me really miss Big Brother.

I agree with everything mentioned, and my heart goes out to Nikki's mum and her loved ones. It was always worth noting that, as a rule, BIG BROTHER is usually seen as a horrible show, often relegated to the bottom of the pit by the media and yet here, for Nikki's life, it turned out to be a godsend.
