He first won the championship at 19 and today he became the oldest ever champion at 36. He now has won the tournament 14 times which is more than any other player has won a particular Grand Slam tournament. I can remember when Pete Sampras was aiming to beat Roy Emerson's record of 12 Grand Slams and he eventually went on to win 14 in total, now Nadal has won that many at the French Open alone. He now extends his Grand Slam wins to 22 tournaments, 2 more than any other man. Surely, the greatest player of all time.
