I dunno
Dominique was also missing from both of these episodes. I'm beginning to think MM got the same sort of lower-episode guarantee that Adam Huber and Maddison Brown got.

Definitively - I assume it's a money-saving exercise mainly, but storywise it works well as Jeff really doesn't need Dominique meddling in his business at this time so I'm not bothered. I assume she'll be back either in the next episode or the one after that with Monica in tow to try and talk some sense into Jeff.

What I loved about this episode - Adam and his shirtless scene, damn! Who knew he had a body like that? I was shocked. Pleasantly shocked and inrigued. No wonder Kirby was distracted as hell ...

To be fair, the producers typically warn the actors well in advance that they plan to give them a shirtless scene (or other "-less" scene) to give them ample time to make themselves as fit and trim as possible. I'm sure there are some actors who are on constant alert (Huber, De La Feunte), but some actors aren't really expected to drop trou as often, so they get some advanced warning.

That's quite a problem. If the bullets have the Carrington name engraved, why did the police didn't find the bullet that shot Mark.
And I was thinking about the question you raised, lately. And I was saying to myself : "having an other shooter, aiming at the exact, exact same time than Alexis would be too much of a coincidence"

So I tend to think it was Alexis. But you might be right too.
Who knows, with this Dynasty, everything is possible. Except keeping the same cristal more than 1 season.
Don’t forget, because she was so drunk at the time, Alexis dropped bullets on the ground when she was trying to load the gun. She could barely stand up, let alone shoot someone. So it’s still possible someone else could’ve shot Mark, and I do wonder if they’ll go down that route.

If they opt for an extended focus on the events of that day the show would have to show the scenes in flashback, to remind us of how 'out of it' she was. I wonder if they could tell the story they want to tell using just the material already shot/seen, or if perhaps they would need to ret-con some of it (even shoot new material) to fit a new conclusion (i.e. Alexis recalls seeing another shooter in the bushes, or maybe hearing a second shot that she initially thought was an echo). NS is highly unlikely to come back for it, so we might get a few more fleeting glimpses and/or voice-overs from Liz Gillies as Alexis to fill in the blanks. The best option would be that the show thought ahead and filmed several alternate scenarios/reaction shots in that period, and can pull from that material for a more seamless look.

While I was originally convinced that they were going to go with the second shooter route, I'm not so sure anymore. It does seem like they're going to go down with Alexis being the shooter, especially as it creates a balance between her and Blake and Cristal - she can't blow the whistle on them for being responsible for Mack's death without exposing herself and vice versa for them with Mark's death. If Alexis realises she's not responsible for Mark's death, then what's stopping her from revealing the motive to the DA?

Of course, they could always have it so that Cristal (and Blake) find out she's not responsible for Mark's death without ever telling her that.

Yeah, I'm picturing Beto being outed as the real killer, perhaps after Beto tries to shoot Alexis but kills Jeff instead*. In the heat of an argument with his sister over an innocent bystander getting killed, he would reveal some bit of information that proves to C3 that he was the one who shot Mark. C3 would feel obligated to keep his secret, and even have to help him escape back to Mexico since he was there at her behest.

* A show like Dynasty would not be willing to show Jeff deteriorating too much, so I see the likelihood that something else will take him out. If Jeff dies from being shot, then the show can kinda-sorta let Adam off the hook since Jeff would not die at Adam's hand. Stepping in front of a bullet meant for Alexis would also allow him to die a heroic death.

Yes, and this would also mean that Cristal will be responsible for killing a second innocent man. That bitch never learns.
Well, when she's old and die, I guess she can burn in Cristals' hell :D

About that, I was watching one or two episodes from season 2 and it was like a slap to me to notice how much C2 feels nothing like C3. The actress, the writing... It's like C3 is a new character with a bit of C2's leftovers. I seriously can understand that it's a real distraction for mainstream watchers. Oh God, why did they have to kill C1?...

Every time I take a look at one of the very informative threads of this forum, I tend to think that it´s a Star Wars one...until I realize what you all are talking about... C3 D2...

What if Celia never died? She was apparently dead when she was found after the fire, but:
a) She was barely alive, and, at the Hospital, she asked a nurse or a doctor to help her fake her death, so she could be finally free from the Carringtons.
b) She, almost dying, promised Alexis that if she helped her to go away as Alexis herself did once, she'd be out of the picture and Alexis could be there for Blake.
c) She was abducted by Aliens.
d) It was a dream. Fallon's dream of course.

Anyways, the point is that Celia is back!

I like the solution B. Alexis got rid of Celia. But if Cristal got killed during the "royal" wedding of Fallon and Liam, maybe she would have second thought about Blake and be back in Atlanta ?

I remember thinking/writing at the time that the way they did the time jump was a soapy way of giving themselves just such an "out" with respect to Celia. I hoped that Celia was taken to the hospital and there was a switch where someone with proper motive shipped the comatose Celia off to a burn unit and told the family that Celia died. They gave the family the ashes we saw being disrespected in the opening episode of season two.

Now I see an even more soapy situation where Celia awakens, discovering that the folks in the facility think she is some other person (having been ID'd as the woman whose ashes were given to the Carringtons). All of Celia's scenes are being shot from her POV, allowing them to get around having Nathalie Kelley return (which....she won't). After some 'internetting' she realizes that the Real Cristal Flores is now married to Blake and living the high life. This angers her, because we get a flashback (shot from Celia's POV in the hospital) of C3 visiting her in the burn unit, letting the viewer know that Cristal knew what had really happened. This would be a good cliffhanger for the end of a season. When the new season begins, C3 gets a call from the facility letting her know Celia has been released after having some surgeries and rehab, which sends C3 into a panic. C3 comes face to face with Celia, who looks exactly like C3 (and played by Daniela), and Celia locks her in the attic over the stables where Celia "died" so Celia can assume her rightful place as Mrs. Carrington. You'd have to hit those self-involved Carringtons over the head with a hammer for them to notice the way C3 is no longer behaving like she used to.

When you're french, it's tough to find episodes... I'm not addicted enough (actually I'm not at all) to struggle and spend hours on the web... Till now I managed to find the first 10 episodes. 11 and 12 are impossible to find, or very long to be available on french sites. I won't wait for it to be available on Netflix, which I never subscribed to anyway.
I'm done. This series will be out of my mind quickly.
It is is yet.
Enjoy your journey, fans! My best regards to all Alexis and Cristals (past and future)
I'm flying back to Denver...
;)
