I dunno
Anyway. My mom is a pure Scorpio and she's damned proud of it too - if there's ever been a frustrating point in my life, it's when I try to convince her that she might be wrong but she's like - "no, I know better you skank". Mother is just like that - she absolutely knows better than you.

God, I'm not even sure anyone cares. But anyway, my mom's in the background doing Scorpio things - because you know, that's what they do. I don't even know why I bother at this point. Either way, she's Scorpio and I'm Taurus, my sister is a Cancer. Guess who is dreadful? Either way, I think my mom is going to go to hell.

Hi, my name is Mo. I am a bit timid and am usually too afraid to post anything on here in case anyone bullies me.

Hello everyone, I joined in March of this year and just found this thread. I'm still navigating my way round the forum and I really enjoy it. There's a fantastic community here.

I've been a Dallas fan since before I was in double numbers. I also used to watch the other soaps Knots Landing and Falcon Crest. But Dallas has always been my passion and the one I know most about, probably bordering on obsessively.

Who would ever have thought that in 2023 there would be other Dallas fans to communicate with from all around the world.

I often wish I had discovered this forum a lot earlier, but I'm thankful I have now. If I hadn't I may never have known about the reunion in Palm Springs in June which I was lucky enough to attend.

Hello everyone. I'm late finding this thread which is no big shock as I'm usually behind everyone else for anything.

I feel you all know me since I've posted photos of myself at the Dallas reunion in the summer and just recently when I watched Patrick in 12 Angry Men and met him afterwards.

I was very naive when I put those photos on and far too excited to think it through and for a while after it terrified me, but after all the lovely positive responses I received I knew it was OK. I hesitated about putting the ones of Patrick on, but thought you've all seen me now, so why not? My son was very keen to be part of the forum and knows many of your names as though he knows you well!

I've always been a TV fanatic and love drama particularly police dramas. I'm not great with comedy (only some) or reality TV.

But for me nothing beats or ever will beat Dallas. Those that know me will know I'm a bit obsessive about it. I don't know why, but I grew up watching Dallas from when it originally aired even though I was quite young and it made such an impression on me which hasn't ever left me.

I've always worked in some kind of caring role, most recently working with children with complex needs for 12 years and now in a mental health facility.

I love being on the forum and have started posting on other threads besides Dallas. Things like this don't come easy to me, but I've always been treated with respect. It's a wonderful community and even when we don't agree it makes for fascinating reading.

It's lovely that you and you son can share your enjoyment of this forum together. Is he also a Dallas fan? I noticed he went with you to see 12 Angry Men so I suspect he is.

Thankyou. He's never watched a full episode but has seen plenty of clips online and caught bits when I'm watching it on DVD. His knowledge is very good.

We have a nightly chat about Dallas and he's very well informed from posts on here and being raised by a Dallas fan.

Hopefully not as dramatic as Sue Ellen and John Ross.
Well he can be quite opinionated at times. Enjoys winding me up about Sue Ellen and loves copying JR's accent.

I never dreamed a 15 year old would be so enthusiastic about Dallas in 2023! I absolutely love it.

Hello everyone,

thought I'd write a small introduction here since this seems to be the thread for it!

My name is - sadly - not really Logan Rhinewood (I chose it because I've always loved how ridiculously cool it is), it's Alexander. I'm a huge fan of Dallas and Dynasty, I constantly re-watch these two shows and I still discover new things. My favorite characters are Sue Ellen Ewing, JR Ewing, Cecil Colby & Alexis Carrington. I'm 40 years old and I actually only started watching Dallas and Dynasty about ten years ago - I knew about them, of course, but I somehow simply never really got into them when I was younger.

This is me in a nutshell, I guess. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Hello and welcome.
How exciting to welcome a fellow Sue Ellen fan and JR of course!

Cecil and Alexis......mmm I might struggle there with Dynasty being a swear word to me growing up, I do love Joanie though!

Thank you! If I had to choose I'd always choose Dallas so no worries there, haha! I think it's because I like most of the main characters on Dallas whereas on Dynasty I have an absolute LOATHING for Blake Carrington - how toxic can a father and husband be? Blake: Yes - and Krystle isn't among my favorites either. This is different with Dallas for me, I like the Ewings as a family (even though I will admit that Jock can be rather irritating with his chauvinistic views) and Sue Ellen is one of my all time favorite television characters in general, so she ranks really high. I love the entire arc she goes through on the show.

Hello, I'm Sean. I'm a major TV addict, particularly being a fan of Doctor Who since the beginning of the 2005 revival. I enjoy watching a lot of sci-fi and superhero series, and I like a good game show too.

I want to work in television (and film) myself one day. I have been trying to get into that industry, but it's so hard to break into. Especially if you are autistic and as a result, your options are more limited because you don't have the coordination to be able to live by yourself without any support. It pretty much makes relocating impossible.
