Season 11 "Top Gun" episode when Sue Ellen arrives at the meeting as a secret shareholder and votes against J.R., preventing him from taking over WestStar. Who else do you think should have been made Chairman?

this was the perfect time for the dastardly Edison Faraday Haynes, who’d been playing the long game since at least season 1, and possibly even since he schemed to marry the daughter of a fabled wildcatter with a potential claim to half of the Ewing Oil empire, to swoop in and assert his place as a titan of the Texas oil industry, aided by his second wife Katherine Wentworth and his nervous but effective henchman Ritlin

I voted for Marilee (yes, I did...) but what would have been a blast is Pam entering the boarding room as the new Chairwoman...J.R.´s jaws would drop! By then they were looking for a Pam lookalike (Ms. Michaels first appeared in the Season 12 Premiere) so it probably would’ve been a double shock! Or better bring back Vics with a high rise...

And then, Pam's body is found in the next episode (since Victoria Principal had already made it clear she wasn't coming back anyway). J.R. is the main (and only) suspect. Series finale.
I have to admit that Margaret Michaels had something fascinating in her resemblance to Victoria Principal, but I never bought the plastic surgery trick. Pam was horribly disfigured, and there's no way she could end up looking like her gorgeous doppelgänger...

I've long said that Pam's crash on that badlands highway should have been into that tanker doing illegal oil business for J.R., especially after he and the company had just been censured by the feds. JR tries to cover it up so Bobby and the feds don't find out, And then once Bobby does find out, he winds up yet again trying to protect his brother (and the family, and what's left of the company) over something JR was doing.

After Pam disappears, and in the final season, Bobby and Cliff come to the conclusion that she may be dead -- and from complications of adult-onset neurofibromatosis... Meaning Pam was Digger's daughter after all!
