Dallas is being released season by season on Prime UK (as part of the monthly subscription).

Currently, the mini series and season 1 (2 depending on how you count) should be available.

Don’t get too excited… inexplicably it will not be the HD version. But it’s something.

Well, at least that's something but that's poor form not showing the restoration version. If Amazon hope to attract eyeballs at least put the HD version on their streaming platform.

I’ve given up questioning anything related to Warner Discovery. And with the acquisition by Paramount things will get even worse.

I bought the entire collection in HD on Apple for £39 just recently. It’s making quite an impact on my enjoyment of Season 11. This is where I’ve started. Up to episode 13 and it’s a lot more engaging than I remember. Some of the location shots are gorgeous and Linda Gray looks ravishing.

Silly as it sounds, the restoration relocates the characters to a visual universe that I associated with classic Dallas and so I seem weirdly more invested this time around.

Surprising but very welcome.

I know. It looks stunning. Despite the 4x3 picture, I felt like I'm watching a brand new show. It has aged extremely well (some dialogue aside... "J.R. we never make love anymore!" :haha:)

I honestly am at a loss with trying to understand WBD. The Dallas HD version was completed 4 years ago, was available for free on Freevee in the US, then Amazon Prime. Now it's not available for streaming at all in the US, just to purchase. It's been available for almost 4 years in Germany in HD. In other countries it's slowly becoming available but in SD (it's even in SD for purchase with HD only available in some countries like the UK).

Knots Landing is worse. We know from two separate and reliable sources that the remaster is done but it's yet to see the light of day ANYWHERE. To make it worse, there are 4 or more different sets of SD versions across the different streaming platforms

It can't be this difficult!
