It's time to put your virtual "X" in the cyber box and choose your favourite thread from our nominees.

We've only had three nominations, which may make deciding easier. Here's the nomination thread including the reasons the threads were chosen. Have a look over and vote for your top choice. It's as simple as that.

Our winner will receive our coveted Thread Of The Year award and the points that come with it.

There's no obligation to post, but if you'd like to say why you voted the way you did, or make other comments on the threads in question, please feel free to do so below.

Voting will close in 10 days' time, on 23rd January at 08:35 GMT.

Have fun!!

I voted for Watching Dallas With A Newbie for the same reasons I gave when I nominated this thread:

Many of us on this forum are longstanding Dallas fans and we have a nostalgic affection for the show which sometimes leads us to not always being objective about it. Reading the thoughts of someone completely new to Dallas who is also from a younger generation (the daughter of a forum member) has been fascinating.

I said the one about the death of QEII, because she was a very important queen in England's history (and for quite a while as well).

Lord - I wish I got some kind of notification when polls ended. Anyhow, here I am and only eight days late...

It's been a very close one this time round, with just one vote difference between two of our candidates. And that one vote means...

Huge congratulations to you, Ome!!!

Your award and points are wrapped and will be with you presently. Enjoy!!!!

Congratulations to you @Ome.

The thread which initially began about your own concern for Queen Elizabeth's health quickly and sadly turned into so much more.

Your thread has now become a very important and poignant part of history.

Yes, absolutely. As part of remembering the time we lost her, I will always be reminded on the thread and sharing our sadness with each other. All the lovely tributes and stories from other members will be part of that memory.

It was also up against two other brilliant threads and it's shame there had to be a winner in this. I didn't take part in either of the two threads, but I followed them and enjoyed all the discussions throughout.
