It's the FINAL ROUND of our year-by-year retrospective of Telly Talk’s favourite threads - a concept suggested by @Angela Channing.

This time round, we're voting on threads started in 2021, as nominated by you, the virtual people.

You can only vote for one choice, and all threads have links so you can check them out, as well as the reasons members gave for nominating them.

Round Six nominees are:

The Prisoner (1967)

Thread starter: @I Am Boz
Nominated by: @Willie Oleson
Reason: it made me discover one of the greatest TV series of all time.

A Chronological History of Australian Soap

Thread starter: @Carrie Fairchild
Nominated by: @Willie Oleson
Reason: a wonderful read for the fans of Aussie soaps.

Every UK Number 1 single by Scottish acts

Thread starter: @Ome
Nominated by: @James from London

...[A] highly enjoyably geeky read. I'm hoping we get a sequel one of these days.

A Ewingverse Oral History

Thread starter: @James from London
Nominated by: @Mel O'Drama

...[G]oing back not just to the beginning of the series, but all the way back to the Primeval Era. Plus it's a complete novelty to see Paul Galveston sharing a thread with LeeAnn De La Vega and Harris Ryland.

"Just one more thing...": Rewatching Columbo

Thread starter: @Mel O'Drama
Nominated by: @Angela Channing

This is a great thread for fans of Columbo and those who are just curious about the show. Every episode of the show was summarised and reviewed entertainingly and comprehensively, with some great insights about the show that I hadn't previously appreciated.

Voting will run for two weeks, until 14th September (Midday GMT), after which our 2021 winner will be crowned. The winner(s) will return later in our Champion Of Champions vote to decide our ultimate Telly Talk thread of all time.

EVERYONE CAN VOTE for one of the choices in the poll. Adding your comments or reasons for voting isn't essential but would be appreciated.

Thanks to all who have nominated a thread here. Have fun voting, and good luck one and all.

I voted for the "Just one more thing...": Rewatching Columbo thread, not just because I'm a massive fan of Columbo but because Mel O'Drama's thorough and entertaining reviews really brought the brilliance of the series to life and it was great to experience the series again through the eyes and thoughts of someone else. A thread not just for Columbo fans but for anyone who enjoys reading great reviews and insightful analysis of a TV series.

Oh, thanks Angela. That's very nice of you.

I thoroughly enjoyed that thread, and my Columbo rewatch, because you were generous enough to share your wealth of knowledge and experiences of the series with me as I watched.

As the thread starter, I consider myself ineligible to vote for this particular thread anyway, but if I were to do so it would be because your insights brought the series to life and enriched my own viewing experience, which is what the site is all about,

Big congratulations to @Carrie Fairchild and the winning thread A Chronological History Of Australian Soap, as nominated by @Willie Oleson. It's great to see some love for the Antipodes and I've thoroughly enjoyed filling in those considerable gaps in my Aussie soap knowledge, as well as fondly remembering some favourites.

Your Award and its accompanying points will be with you presently.

And since we've covered every year since our 2016 "reboot" that's all for our year-by-year votes until we review 2022 at the end of the year. But... all our yearly winners will be given the chance to win all over again as they go head-to-head into a Champion Of Champions round very soon. Watch this space...

Oh, I think the sporadic-ness(?) adds to the appeal by building anticipation. Each new show feels more special when it arrives and I always look forward to seeing which series will be next.

Congrats again!!
