Following Julia's death in the spring house fire, a remorseful Angela tells Lance that she always put her business before being a mother relays a story about a letter Julia wrote her when she was away at school telling her she was looking forward to her mother visiting on parents day but Angela never showed up. Lance looks both horrified and disappointed at the revelation. One of my favourite Falcon Crest scenes ever and Jane Wyman's performance in it was first class. FALCON CREST

2. Wendell confesses to being behind the Justice Department forcing JR to sell Ewing Oil. JR thought he sold the company to Posner Realty Company and Wendell tells him that company is a minor subsidiary of his. DALLAS

3. Valene confesses to killing Ciji. Val acts out the events that took place and the police sneakily bring in Gary to see that she is confessing. KNOTS LANDING

4. JR confesses to setting up Cliff to buy Gold Canyon 340 using Vaugn Leeland's bank as a front for his activities. DALLAS

5. Tom Carrington's death bed confession to being Dominique's father. DYNASTY

One of my favourite Falcon Crest scenes ever and Jane Wyman's performance in it was first class.

It's one of mine too, and it's also useful as evidence to the contrary when people lazily dismiss Lorenzo Lamas as being unable to act.

I completely agree. Although I highlighted Jane Wyman's performance in my original post, Lorenzo was really good in that scene too, not just in what he said but his reactions to what Angela was saying. I've never entirely agreed with the comment that "acting is about reacting" but that's definitely true in that scene.

I always thought Morgan Brittany was an
incredibly beautiful woman. However, in 2:06 of the above posted video they have her dressed as if she was guest starring on Little House on the Prairie. Was that actually a style for a brief moment in the 80's, or were the writers trying to make some statement about Katherine's psyche? She also used to rock these 1940's hairdos. She looke stunning, but still it seemed odd.

The 1980s was very much a 1940s fashion redo for women. Also that sort of Prairie stuff was in in the early 1980s and Victoriana was in too.
