Instead of making Callie the naive country girl perhaps it would’ve been better to make her more of a vixen that was only after the Ewing money. At the very least they could’ve flipped the character once she got to Dallas, having her dupe everyone including J.R. and revealing her true colors. I don’t know if it would’ve worked but it could’ve been an interesting way to go.

Cally should have been a one-season character, like others from Season 12 (Tracey, Tommy, even Carter McKay). I always tend to think that the Season Finale "leaked" by the National Enquirer was much better than what we had: Sue Ellen leaves with a black oil baron, while JR, Bobby, April and Cally are locked up in an abandoned warehouse with a bomb planted in it by Carter, who ends up locked too! The season ends with a bomb... and by the beginning of Season 13, no more April or Cally... Ding dong! The b*tch is dead...! And JR becomes a widower who instead of mourning Cally, falls in love with a woman called... Jeanne O´Brien, who suspiciously looks like old Pammie Barnes. Bobby´s jaw drops when JR announces that he intends to marry her... In Knots fashion, Jeanne turns into a psycho and tries to kill him to get a hold at his fortune... Imagine that here Jeanne is played by Victoria instead of MM!!

Off-topic: I just found out that a site called Civitai has published a lot of pictures of Pam "de-aged" by an IA, like this one:

Is somebody planning a CGI sequel to "Dallas" or some horny fan is "improving" Pam´s cleavage...or maybe VP is renewing her driving license using this pic...?

one of them high rises down in Venezuela
if they were going to go as far as to bring Cally to Southfork and make her a multi-season character, they should have taken the story to its logical climax and had, via some sort of bizarre divorce settlement/criminal injunction from the unincorporated municipality of Haleyville, Japhet and Boaz installed as co-owners and co-presidents of Ewing Oil. Just as Jock fever-dreamed in South America — two brothers side by side working the company he built.

(seen above; the brothers in their pre-tycoon family farming element, and the newly-renamed Harper Building shortly after they added a bunch of stuff on top to “liven things up now that its ours.”)
