In "Grenade", Bruno Mars sings that he should have known his girlfriend was trouble from the first kiss because she had her eyes wide open.

My question: How does he know that?

In Olivia Rodrigo's "Deja Vu", there's one major difference in her ex's new relationship that the singer seems to have overlooked:
He may have stolen all her ideas but in teaching them to his new girl, he's made himself the leader.

How could anyone take such a fun and entertaining song and make it so dull?

Here's the original:

At about the 50-second mark: "Conversations with a stranger I barely know."
As opposed to strangers he knows well?

In "About Damn Time", why does Lizzo sing the redundant "I'm not the girl I was or used to be" when the fix is easy and obvious: "I'm not the girl I was or thought I'd be"?
