I love it! It appears to be produced by Motiv8's cousin Xenomania which explains the 90s/early 00s sound because back then the only thing a chorus needed was a bit of "te-dede" or "na-nana" (e.g. Gala's Freed From Desire).

I dunno
I'm absolutely obsessed with Mel C's cover of Riu Da Silva's Touch Me:

She should go 90s/early 00s club for her next album.

Wow, this sounds great!
I thought the original was OK-ish but it fails to hold my attention as it just plods along without any direction.
This cover version has more oomph and also much more of a pop sound.

A tough decision in this momentous pop week. Steps' Manics-ish 'A Hundred Years of Winter' and the Manics' New Seekers-ish 'In the Waves of Love' are both ace, but as neither contain the line "Boredom, your biggest enemy, left your heart on the beach in Tenby," it can only be the Manics' Abba-ish 'The Secret He Had Missed.'

If this is jumping on the bandwagon of ABBA's spectacular return then I hope every artist is going to do it (except for a return of Mama Mia the musical/movie).

Incidentally, and this has absolutely nothing to do with MSP's music, today I learned about the phenomenon "mockbuster", movies created for no other purpose than to ride on the coattails of a contemporary blockbuster or the promotion thereof. It appears to be connected with the mysterious The Asylum production company.
Of course I've always known these kind of movies - usually by accidentally picking the wrong version - but I didn't know that it was a "thing" and that there was something very organised about it.
