Erratic Forum Performance?

Is anyone else finding the site really slow to post and sometimes timing out before posting or is it just me??

no other websites seem to be having the same issues as Soap Chat for me

I thought it was my computer until I saw your comment. Yes its happening to me as well, I keep jetting those (loading?) lines in the top right hand side of the forum when I post.

Now that you mention it the Forum was a bit sluggish yesterday for a while.

I re-started my computer which seemed to sort it out

All OK for me tonight apart from when I'm posting pictures and keep duplicating them, that's probably me at fault with that, hence 3 of the the same pic in 80s Christmas Divas thread.

This is a fairly recent problem for me. A page shows can't connect as tellytalk too slow to respond. Says check Internet but everything else works. If I manage to get on it, it's sometimes only for a short period.
Do I need to clear all data for tellytalk?
Will it affect my account?
No other issues with anything else just this site.

The same page will show on my tablet and phone which is how I access tellytalk. It's not the same page displayed around the 17th at times.
It starts off well then begins to "stick".

This is probably easy for someone who knows what they're doing and it might sound silly, but it's difficult for me not being very tech savvy.

It can be variable for some people - see above thread

Ive changed browsers from time to time to see if that helps me ie Firefox to IE or Chrome

I've tried contacting the mods about the faults but nothing as yet has been done about it.

I have been looking into this for you today, Luke, as I said I would when replying to your PMs. As I've let you know, I've so far found nothing in your account that should affect site performance for you.

Site traffic has also remained consistent, and members seem to be posting normally today, so if there is a problem with the site at the moment, it's rather difficult to pinpoint.

We'll endeavour to keep looking, and I've suggested some other things in our exchanges that may help, but from the information at hand there is a likelihood that the problem isn't on the site itself. It seems a good sign that you've been able to make some posts this evening. Here's hoping.

Today I logged in and it said Account suspended when i logged in on Firefox (and thought eek, its not the 17th!!)

but with Microsoft edge its fine

Anyone else??
