Considering that in 1990s EastEnders, both Mitchell Brothers had 2 marriages and partners in Julie, Anne, Nadia, Tiffany, Lorna, Annie, Lorraine, Nina and Lisa.
1980s - What if Den and Angie had 2 marriages, 2-7 partners between them and Angie a male master? - Den and Angie could have been a stormy relationship or marriage, and Angie a male master.
I know that The Watts (Angie and Sharon in particular) had a better rapport with The Fowlers and The Beales that The Mitchell Brothers and Peggy never did, so I don't know if TPTB could have gone the other way with it and never introduced Kathy or even killed Pete off in 1993. It would have meant Peggy would have been more like Angie, and Angie would've been written more like Peggy and Angie banning Colin and Barry for their gay relationship, or even Den banning Colin and Barry instead.
