*6am versions also available of that run for those early risers all week!

If there's any programmes I've missed do let me know, seems as though they could have done a bit more but we all know it's been a tough one for them. Would have liked to have seen more old corrie docs get TV showings rather than dumped on Britbox.

Speaking of Britbox.
The Catalogue on Britbox has had a hefty expansion recently so maybe worth checking out. Still far short of the treasure drove many of us long for but a load of new episodes and docs to check out (although some were shown on ITV earlier this year, so not great there)

Thanks for info @cobbles , I may not like Corrie now but really enjoyed it back in the late 70s, 80s and90s
Hope we get to see some classic Corrie couples and scenes
with Annie Walker, Bet Lynch, Alec Gilroy, Audrey and Alfie, Ken, deirdrie, Blanche, Elsie Tanner, Hilda, Stan, jack, Vera, Mike, Alma, Gail and co - back in the day when it was witty, funny, gritty and a great Northern drama

I have never seen the road to Coronation Street (or dont think I have) is it worth a look?
BF x

I have it on DVD and loved it. It has a lot of familiar faces, a good helping of that Corrie humour and will probably make you want to watch the Sixties episodes starting with Episode One:

Yes, yes a million times! I was bemoaning it being repeated 3 times in the space of a week rather than the actual drama itself which is brilliant.

It's absolutely brilliant and well worth a watch if you haven't seen it - it's on britbox and amazon though (or was last I checked) so I'd probably watch it that way rather than on telly to avoid adverts as it was produced for BBC.

The comment about making you want to watch every episode above is spot on. Maybe one day, eh?

it was produced for BBC.

It's slightly ironic, especially since it won a BAFTA. But it's also quite sweet that the Beeb held Corrie in enough regard to make it.

I seem to remember something about Dot Cotton planning to watch the 50th episode as well. I wonder if any other soap characters will reference the 60th.
