A lot of the celebratory stuff is being buried over on ITV3 so here's the full run down of repeats/docs etc be shown this week to celebrate the 60th. Sunday 6th December 2020 10.30pm The Road to Coronation Street (Rpt) (ITV) Monday 7th December 2020 2.50pm / 3.20pm* - Classic Corrie continuation of normal run (ITV3) 7.30pm - Coronation Street first of 3 hour long specials. (ITV) 8.30pm - Coronation Street: 60 Unforgettable Years - 60th anniversary retrospective clip documentary piece, 90 minutes (ITV) 10.00pm - Classic Coronation Street - 9th December 1960 (first episode) (ITV3) 10.35pm - Classic Coronation Street - 9th December 1970 (10th anniversary) (ITV3) Tuesday 8th December 2020 (all ITV3) 2.50pm / 3.20pm - Classic Corrie continuation of the normal run 10.00pm - Classic Coronation Street - 8th December 1980 (20th anniversary) 10.35pm - Classic Coronation Street - 10th December 1980 (20th anniversary) Wednesday 9th December 2020 2.50pm / 3.20pm - Classic Corrie continuation of normal run (ITV3) 7.30pm - Coronation Street (2nd of 3 hour long specials) 9.00pm - Queens of The Street - retrospective clip doc celebrating streets female characters 10.00pm - Classic Corrie - 10th December 1990 (ITV3) (30th anniversary) 10.35pm - Classic Corrie - 12th December 1990 (ITV3) (30th anniversary) Thursday 10th December 2020 2.50pm/3.20pm - Classic Corrie - continuation of normal run (ITV3) 10.00pm - Classic Corrie - 8th December 2000 (40th anniversary) (60m) (ITV3) Friday 10th December 2020 2.50pm/3.20pm - Classic Corrie - continuation of normal run (50th anniversary) (ITV3) 7.30pm Coronation Street - last of 3 hour long specials 8.35pm - The Road to Coronation Street - the BBC drama (ITV3) 10.00pm - Classic Corrie - 9th December 2010 (50th anniversary) (ITV3) Saturday 11th December 2020 7.20pm The Road to Coronation Street - again (ITV3) *6am versions also available of that run for those early risers all week! If there's any programmes I've missed do let me know, seems as though they could have done a bit more but we all know it's been a tough one for them. Would have liked to have seen more old corrie docs get TV showings rather than dumped on Britbox. Speaking of Britbox. The Catalogue on Britbox has had a hefty expansion recently so maybe worth checking out. Still far short of the treasure drove many of us long for but a load of new episodes and docs to check out (although some were shown on ITV earlier this year, so not great there)
