The actor and comedian who played the comic undertaker Archie Shuttleworth in Corrie has passed away aged 83.

So sorry to hear that, he has been around for such a long time and remember him way back when i was a little girl

For a long time i recall my dad listening to the News Huddlines on the radio and i remember him best as Archie the undertaker in Corrie who used to give heights of people as if he were measuring up for a coffin. Think i only caught him last week on something talking about late, great Victoria Wood

Absolutely, he was another true comedy great, we have lost so many of them in recent times.
