Anyone else with this issue?

On certain sections of SC, like Music, the design in the header is slightly squashed together. The thread title is halfways covered and you can't click on the links correctly.

I assume it's because the banner pictures are too big now that the design has changed. A size change for the banners may be a good idea?

Then it has to be the banner size that's causing it, cause the banners don't show up on phones.

I get that same squished look when viewing on desktop. I typically use the
forums>all things Dallas>Knots Landing
series of links (this type of thing) to click between forums, but since the
[mark forums read][search forums][watched forums] etc. line of links is bleeding over into that space, I have to click 'forums', go the main page, then start over each time.

(Yes, I know I didn't explain that well, which is why I hesitated to bring it up anyway--thanks @Emelee !

Yes I'm getting this too @Emelee. When I've posted in a forum I then need to go back onto the main page, to return to the forum I was already posting in.

Are you seeing it on pages with smaller banners like Dallas?

I see those weird arrows too and cant work out what they are.

I'm sure it's connected with the banners in the page headers because I don't see the arrows on any of the forums with no banners such as the home page, Sports and UK & Rest of the World Politics.

The arrows only appear when the browser isn't at full screen. If you reduce the browser size you might see them.

The height on the main page has been reduced. I'm assuming this was done to fit the new logo in.

The banners that were in place before the new logo was loaded up are now out of sync because of the reduction in height size. Those forums won't load up correctly while they are still showing.

Pamela is in the process of removing all the banners from across the forums, once this has been done the pages should load up correctly and you should be able to navigate around the forums as before.

Why was the layout skin changed and why wasn't it tested at least on a Laptop before rolling it out?

When will the "moods" and the rest of the forum banners return? The forum looked so nice before those recent changes. Not everyone sleeps and lives with their mobile phone.

Is there no way to just roll the layout back to.. when it was good? Because back then it looked good on Laptop AND mobile.

Or just give me option to select the old style via the style choser that is part of the software anyway.

Another relatively new issue: I often need now like 20 seconds to load one forum page here for several weeks now ... with a 400 mbit/s connection. Every other forum or page i use works perfectly, site appears right after the click, as it should be in 2020. Quite annoying... these are loading times like 23 years ago. "Looking for the slowest page on the net? Try soapchat.."
Your hoster is not worth a penny.
I'd love to support this page with regular donations, but as long as it seems to be like "give the worst of the worst impression possible on the whole internet", i just can't. It just feels wrong.

PS: I needed 4 minutes of loading time now to edit one sentence.
The members here are gold, they are the reason why i still spend so much time here. But presentation and page itself from technical standpoint are really pure CRAP. Hard to find something worse on the net. Rock bottom. Sorry, but it's true. It often feels like "candid camera" for "how much can you take on the net before havin a nervous breakdown"?
