Sanders: 'We won't allow Trump to remove rights'

Bernie Sanders is calling on US citizens to "fight back at every instance" to protect the rights of immigrants and women under Donald Trump's administration.

The Vermont senator responds to the president-elect's promise to deport all undocumented immigrants and to repeal legislation on planned-parenthood.

I am concerned with what Trump said avout abortion rights. That all states should be allowed to make their own laws about that, instead of the country having one law for all.

That means that abortion may become illegal in some states. :eck:

Poor women!!!!! Removing their right to decide over their own body is NOT OK!!!!

I'm not condoning anything he says, but the States are just too big to have one rule for all. It's normal for each state to have their own laws. For example in some states it's not illegal not to wear a crash helmet on a motorbike, in other states you must..

Smaller laws like that, I don't mind. But human rights is a whole other matter IMO. Deciding over your own body is a human right. Like the right not to be raped or attacked. Such major things shouldn't be up to the different states to decide, IMO.

If one chooses not to wear a helmet, then you're just stupid for living dangerously. I don't need a law for that, but it would help save some lives.

I think he will stay away from cost prohibited issues..

He is not repealing gay marriage which the media is failing to report..

I dont think abortion is first on the docket..

He doesn't have the authority to repeal gay marriage. The Supreme Court already ruled on it and they would have to overturn it. Trump would have to replace one of the five Justices who voted in favor of it.
